Version 3.1.9 October 2026

A new file explorer, Azure Discovery for every role and private network deployments

A Windows-style file explorer, container discovery for every enterprise role with access that always follows your Azure rights, Azure Marketplace deployments inside your private network, plus a redesigned support and administration experience.

  • NewSimpler plans: Free, Pro and Enterprise. Pro adds yearly billing (2 months free), 25 containers, 100 active recipients and 5 GB uploads.
  • NewEnterprise: your own Blob Web Explorer instance operated by us, in the Azure region and on the domain you choose, with Microsoft Entra ID, enterprise roles, optional application data in your own storage and support response targets.
  • NewNew Security page on the website, prices on the Editions page, and Teams demo requests with your preferred time slots.
  • NewRedesigned Help & support: follow all your requests with filters and search, see at a glance when our team is waiting for your answer, and read each conversation as a chat.
  • NewSupport notifications: a counter on the bell icon and the Help menu tells you when our team has replied, and a New badge marks the tickets to open.
  • NewRedesigned Admin settings with status at a glance, one-click health checks that explain any problem, and step-by-step guidance to grant Admin, Contributor or Reader roles.
  • NewAdministrators of enterprise deployments can move the application data to another storage account in four guided steps, and every change is recorded in the activity log.
  • NewNew website pages to compare the SaaS, Enterprise and Azure Marketplace editions and choose the right deployment.
  • NewChoose between a light and a dark top bar with one click; your choice is remembered in your browser.
  • NewAdministrators of enterprise deployments can display their organization's logo at the top left of the application for all users.
  • NewSearch all your containers from anywhere: a search box in the top bar and on the Dashboard finds any file by name or folder path, whatever its storage account.
  • NewContributors and Readers of enterprise deployments can now discover the Azure containers they already have access to and link them in a few clicks.
  • NewAzure Marketplace deployments can now run fully inside your private network, reachable only from your virtual network with private DNS.
  • NewReaders find the containers they linked under My Linked Containers on the Dashboard, can open or unlink them, and keep using the containers shared with them.
  • NewLink a discovered container with a SAS URL you generated yourself in the Azure portal, when other linking methods are not available in your organization.
  • NewA brand-new file explorer in the Windows 11 style: switch between all your containers from the side pane, browse folders in a tree, and use the familiar keyboard shortcuts, drag and drop and right-click menus.
  • NewPreview images, PDF, video, audio and text files without downloading them, and view file properties and metadata.
  • NewChoose a light or dark theme for the file explorer; your choice is remembered in your browser.
  • ImprovedContact us in the application: choose a topic (plans and Enterprise, partnership, billing), send your message and get a reference; Talk to Sales on the Pricing page opens it ready for an Enterprise request.
  • ImprovedYour new plan limits apply automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed, and return to the Free limits when a subscription ends, without removing your containers or shares.
  • ImprovedAfter a downgrade, your oldest containers and recipients keep full access; the most recent ones beyond the new limits become read-only, flagged Read-only (plan limit), until you upgrade again.
  • ImprovedWhen you share a container, the start date is prefilled with today's date.
  • ImprovedOpening a case is faster: choose a support request or a bug report, set the impact level and drop your screenshots directly in the form.
  • ImprovedThe About page shows your version and deployment details, ready to copy into a support request.
  • ImprovedAzure Marketplace deployments are simpler and more reliable, with fewer resources created in your subscription.
  • ImprovedWhen a container is linked with your Azure account instead of a storage key, Blob Web Explorer clearly shows that access lasts 7 days at most and ends sharing at the same date.
  • ImprovedContainers linked with your own Azure access are marked Personal and cannot be shared, so access always follows your Azure roles.
  • ImprovedA share can no longer outlive the access of its container: its end date is prefilled and capped automatically.
  • ImprovedClear badges on the Dashboard show Personal links and containers whose access expires soon or has expired.
  • ImprovedAfter linking containers from Azure, a summary shows each link type, its read or write access and when its access ends.
  • ImprovedAzure Marketplace setup prefills your Microsoft Entra tenant ID.
  • ImprovedReaders who can access the storage account keys can link containers even when their organization does not allow the Azure Storage permission; these Personal links last 7 days by default.
  • ImprovedLarge folders open much faster: items load progressively instead of all at once, and downloading several items or folders creates the ZIP on the fly.
  • ImprovedImage thumbnails load faster and appear instantly when you come back to a folder.
  • ImprovedA redesigned search: a cleaner search box in the top bar, a Find any file search with quick filters by file type on the Dashboard, and Ctrl+K to jump to search from anywhere.
  • ImprovedMore compact container cards on the Dashboard: more containers fit on screen, and a click anywhere on a card opens it.
  • FixedSharing a container with an existing Blob Web Explorer user no longer fails with "not registered on the platform".
  • FixedUsage & costs now scans containers linked with a SAS URL instead of reporting them in error, and tells you when an Azure account link needs a new sign-in.
  • FixedFiles from expired shares no longer appear in search results.
  • SecurityLinked containers only use the Azure access of your users: Blob Web Explorer never reaches your storage with its own identity.
